The Health Security Initiative is guided by Australia's Ambassador for Regional Health Security and implemented by the Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security.
The Centre, located in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, brings together expertise from relevant Australian government agencies and is advised by a distinguished Technical Reference Group. The Centre is headed by the First Assistant Secretary, Global Health Division.

Dr Williams is ensuring Australia’s world-class public health and medical research expertise is used for the good of our region.

Robin Davies is the First Assistant Secretary of DFAT’s Global Health Division and concurrently the Head of DFAT’s Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security.
