Bruce is a Registered Nurse with clinical expertise in haematology and infectious diseases. He has extensive experience working in international program management in the fields of both education and global health. For his work with UNAIDS Indonesia, Bruce is currently managing two projects, the first explores barriers to condom use and pre-exposure prophylaxis is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The second is the Fast Track Cities Project, to upscale HIV testing and treatment services in Jakarta. Bruce also assisted in the emergency response when Central Sulawesi was devastated by a tsunami, earthquake and liquefaction in September 2018.
Bruce holds a Master of Public Health (Global Health), Bachelor of Letters (Hons), Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of French Language and Culture. He speaks English, French and Bahasa Indonesia.
