Jenny joined the Health Security Corps in August 2019 on a deployment with the Malaria Consortium as Field Epidemiologist. As an Australian Volunteer, Jenny is working in Stung Treng in Cambodia's north as part of the local malaria team, supporting the Field Implementation Manager and Community Mobilisation Officers to meet their annual targets as they expand and intensify their mobile malaria worker program. The aim is to eradicate malaria in Cambodia by 2025, with particular focus on hard to reach groups located in the forest areas. Jenny was born in Kenya and grew up in Zambia. Jenny graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and completed postgraduate study at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Environmental Epidemiology and Policy). Jenny then relocated to Sydney and worked for more than a decade on the epidemiology of cancer.
