Madeleine Moss took up the role of Deputy Head of Centre in 2017.
Madeleine is a career DFAT officer with over 10 years’ experience in aid and development. She has worked on Australian aid to Pacific island countries, including Fiji and Papua New Guinea. She has also served as a Departmental Liaison Officer in the office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Julie Bishop MP.
Madeleine served in Singapore as Counsellor for Health and in Papua New Guinea as Counsellor for Aid Policy and Coordination. She was also the senior representative for the Australian aid program in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.
Prior to joining the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the former AusAID, Madeleine worked at the Asian Regional Office of the International Labour Organisation in Bangkok.
Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the Australian National University, and a qualification in Tok Pisin language (PNG).
