Domestic Consultative Workshops Outcomes

Between October and December 2018, the Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security convened a series of six domestic consultative workshops. Participants in these workshops were invited to delve into and discuss key health security issues to help inform the Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security about what actions we can take to strengthen health security in the region.

Australia’s Joint External Evaluation
Australia’s health security capability was assessed by an intensive, year-long evaluation throughout 2017, known as a Joint External Evaluation (JEE). The JEE examines core capacities under the World Health Organization’s (WHO) International Health Regulations (IHR) using a multisectoral approach.
