Vaccine Access for the Indo-Pacific
Australia is supporting timely, equitable access to vaccines for partner countries in the Indo-Pacific region.
We are delivering this support in a number of ways - click on the icons to learn more.
Australia has committed to share 60 million COVID-19 vaccine doses with the Indo-Pacific by the end of 2022. This includes 40 million doses from Australia’s supply and 20 million doses to be procured for partners through UNICEF.
In the Pacific and Timor-Leste, we are helping partners to achieve comprehensive COVID-19 immunisation coverage, and supporting the delivery of vaccines in accordance with these countries’ own National Vaccine Deployment Plans.
In Southeast Asia, we are making a significant contribution to the provision of vaccine doses, and providing technical expertise to support countries to prepare for and deliver these vaccines.
